Secret Santa

I know this sounds crazy but last year I had no idea that book bloggers existed or that there is a whole community of book bloggers. So this year I feel a little more in the know and one of the events I found out about was secret santa! I signed up with Holiday Swap and I received a great package from my Secret Santa. I don't know who the person is but THANK YOU!!!! I will be signing up again next year!

  4. (btw, it is really cool to come here and see a post on the right called The World of Gae Polisner. I imagine it has a lovely little dollhouse to go with it... i live in the enchanted pink room with the tiny clawfooted chairs and take tea in the parlor with my cohort debut authors. We all wear tiny dresses and little snowflakes fall outside on the tiny fake pine trees and a little dog yips at the door.

yes, I will do a drawing for this one day. But right now I'm headed out to shop. :)

  5. Don't forget about all the characters who come to life and hang out in your doll house Gae! Have fun shopping!

  6. Gae: While you are out shopping if you see a fancy Pink car don't buy it because I mean I couldn't and if you find a matching single guy and a dream house well I would be to embarrassed to accept.

  7. Awww! What an awesome gift! It's so great to have on-line communities to get involved in. I've loved meeting bloggers, authors, etc in this past year and a half that I've been in the YA community! You're one of my favorite new friends from this community. MOVE TO CA? YES?? YES! Good, it's settled. Bring your family. There is a house across the street from me that is for sale <3

  9. Cari,

I did find a little blue plastic car, and it had these six little holes in it and a guy -- well I think it was a guy because it was blue, but he was just a small tube with a round ball for a head and I'm pretty sure he was headed for the Poor House. Is this what you were talking about? I mean, beggers cant be choosers and he was driving along just trying to fill up those five other holes as he went...
