Book Description:
Eden didn't expect Az.

Not his saunter down the beach toward her. Not his unbelievable pick-up line. Not the instant, undeniable connection. And not his wings.

Yeah.

So long, happily-ever-after.

Now trapped between life and death, cursed to spread chaos with her every touch, Eden could be the key in the eternal struggle between heaven and hell. All because she gave her heart to one of the Fallen, an angel cast out of heaven.

She may lose everything she ever had. She may be betrayed by those she loves most. But Eden will not be a pawn in anyone else's game. Her heart is her own.

And that's only the beginning of the end.

  2. While this is not an entry, I had to say...this cover makes me wish I could put pink streaks in my hair. One day (when I don't have to work).

  3. I've just stumbled onto your blog, and am thrilled to find another lit junkie with a goal. I'm blogging about my reading goal as well, although mine is in defense of the classics; in particular, the 100 books that came pre-installed on my Kobo ereader. I'm a harpist as well who doesn't find a lot of time to practice, so I am choosing a song to play and post for each book I read. (So far I've read twenty-seven books on the Kobo, but have only posted four harp videos..the fifth to come this weekend.) I'm looking forward to reading some of the books you're blogging about, as soon as I've met my goal. Come visit me at www.harpyreader.blogspot.com
    Nice to find you!

  7. Sounds like a great read! I'm new to your blog but definitely not opposed to entering a contest :). So, what I love about YA...

YA is fun and daring. The stories help you escape the everyday and enter someone else's world for a while, and the characters are so relatable. I love that even while the main character is fighting vampires or saving the world, the reader thinks "that's what I would want to do/say in a situation like that."

Thanks Cari for your blog! My Twitter name is @keri_726.

  11. Thank you for the giveaway! I'm looking forward to reading this book. I love YA books because I can relate to the characters much more than I can relate to the characters in adult books and there's generally a good romantic storyline in a YA book.

  14. Sounds like a "radical departure" from the normal struggle between hell and earth theme. Promising to be a great plot line :D.

I'm just casually playing around with writing and have an idea that might also be a similar departure on the theme.

  18. Sounds so good, one more thing to add to the reading list. I love bookmarks, but it's probably for the best if such a precious one doesn't end up in my hands seeing as how most of mind end up destroyed or lost.

  20. I am so excited for this book! I love YA because it's a time of life we can all relate to -- we've all been there. All the emotions are so fresh and new, and there is something so sweet and innocent about the romance that you can't find in adult books. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
